Quite simply, every time  someone needs a check-in / reminder, they receive a phone call. They can receive as many calls as they need throughout the day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and receive the call on a landline or mobile phone.

When the phone is answered the receiver will hear one of our pre-set messages, depending on what sort of reminder they need. You can simply select the most appropriate when setting up the service.​ We can even arrange for personalised messages to be recorded.

The service is great for reminding people to do important things, such as taking their medication. Or it can be used simply to make sure someone is OK on a regular basis.

 

You can easily set up the system so the receiver of the call can hear different messages for different times of day. And remember, there's no limit to the number of reminder calls you can set up - all included in the price.

After hearing the reminder, the receiver will be asked to acknowledge the call by pressing any number button on the phone.

If they do not answer, our system will wait 10 minutes then call again. If there is no answer to the second call then up to three people can be informed by text, phone call or email.

What happens if you call and no one answers?

Our system is designed to call back automatically after 10 minutes. If there is no answer on the second attempt the system will automatically notify a designated contact, whether that be a friend, family member, neighbour or social care professional.

 

How long does it take to set up a call?

It only takes around 5 minutes to set up your calls. Once set-up they are easy to manage, whether that be adding, changing or removing particular calls.

 

Can I set up personalised messages?

Yes you can. You will be guided through this during the sign-up process.

Are there any additional charges?

No, all you will pay is the monthly fee of £16.99 (including VAT) for as long as you want to use the service. No contract means you're free to cancel at any time. And remember it is completely free for the first month, so you can test the service and see if it works for you. You don't even have to input any payment information to use the free trial.

 

Is there a minimum contract length?

No, all plans are prepaid on a monthly basis and collected via direct debit. They can be cancelled at any time.

What if I need more than just a simple reminder call?

You can use our Automated Care Calls alongside our Person to Person Calls service. These more personal calls are carried out by a real person and are a great way to tackle loneliness and isolation and increase wellbeing.
